To me, yoga is not just a way of exercising the body but a holistic practice which can also benefit the mind and spirituality.
It is a tool for self-enquiry and re-discovery, personal growth and healing.
To start, all it takes is to make a decision. After that, anything you can imagine is possible.
Hi, my name is Zdenka and I 'live and breathe' yoga.
I have over 20 years of personal practice experience during which I learned from three distinctly different teachers before embarking on qualification studies with MVP for Yoga Teacher Training including Trauma-informed Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Yoga for grief and anxiety certifications.
I am building on my personal experiences of trauma and blockages in life, my past training in mindfulness and emotional intelligence, exposure to working in mental health care environments and my knowledge of Ayurveda. I couple these skills with my own techniques to aid breakthrough and to support my students with a therapeutic approach and guiding others on their own journey at their own pace.
As well as running yoga retreats, I teach 1:1 classes focused on individual approach where you dictate the level and pace of practice no matter what your yoga experience is so far and together we work on specific issues be it physical, emotional, spiritual or any combination of these.
I use Ayurveda assessment to help identify imbalances and weaknesses and work with you in building stronger individual foundations.
In addition to classes I run yoga retreats on a small Greek island Poros. These are aimed at introduction, support or deepening of your yoga practice, meditation, breath-work, relaxation as well as connection to inner self and nature, all whilst enjoying a relaxing and rejuvenating feeling of me-time and holiday.
These are a small group of 6 to 10 or individual 1:1 personal retreats.
I want to share with you a healing place which I hold very dear in my heart and invite you to get to know yourself deeper, have fun, build new friendships or a wider network of peer support and community or to completely immerse yourself in relaxation hitting a re-set button and focus solely on your own wellbeing.
